hey guys, ill try to keep this short and simple. It seems i have always had something wrong with my CLP and everytime i take it into the dealership they have to replace something. I recently started getting squeaky suspension in the back of my car and oil was also leaking and so i took it to the dealership once again. They call me two hours later and tell me they cant fix either problem because i have comptech sway bars which are making the noise and my K&N upgraded air filter is causing the oil to leak out of my car?! Does someone know if they really cant fix these problems or is someone on the job just being lazy. i thought that K&N air filters dont void any warranty and cant they fix my sway bar squeaking for free? Any advice is appreciated!

 

they should be able to fix both for free...just keep bothering them, show up like 5x a day

 

Why should they fix non- Acura parts for free? The sways just need to be lubed, and K&N air filters do not cause oil to leak out of engines. Now if the filter itself is over-oiled it may leak out of the filter housing, but you didn't specify. If your dealer put on the CT sway bars, where is it written that they are guaranteed for life not to need maintenance? Every now and then they will need to be dropped and lubed which is a pretty simple job.

 

Why should an Acura dealer fix a squeak caused by a CT sway bar? I have an Dell PC, should they have to repair my ViewSonic monitor? As to the Oil leak, where is it leaking?
