Like an hour or more...is it harming anything to just let the car run for a long time without moving?

Of course. It's bad for the planet. You know, all that global-warming stuff. Pollution.

Add needless energy consumption.

Side note -- When cold, the car's tailpipe spews tons of really dirty fumes out. [sarcasm] A great way to annoy neighbors is to face the tailpipe, during cold idle, towards their open window...

Because I like to run the AC in the car when I take my 45 min power naps on my lunch breaks.

Only for your wallet and the environment. 0 MPG isn't all that great with premium unleaded.

my guess is condensation buildup b/c i examined the pipes and noticed that the condensation kinda spurts out in pulses...my car usually does this when it's angled DOWNWARD, meaning the front is lower than the rear.
