I brought my car into have the hood, roof and trunk striaghted out or replaced and noticed that the paint on top of the bumper is all screwed up after they fixed it. I thought it was overspray so i brought it back and they said nope your clear coat is gone. It was fine when i brought it in (i wash it every week so i would have noticed) but now its all messed up. Any one else have problems with their clear coat and should i keep arguing with the repair place? Thanks

I asked the same question They gave me some BS about the sun doing it and honda/acuras tend to have this problem. Im going to the Acura dealership to talk to them because they were the ones who told me to go to this other dealership to have the work done. My Acura dealership doesnt have its own shop so...

I especially noted the sentence:

So, how come our hoods are pitted if we have this special anti-chipping barrier? Maybe we have a case of false advertising here?
