backup copy of Navi DVD

Can I make a backup copy of the DVD? I just got a new Sony PC that burns DVD9 dual layer 8.5g DVDs. haven't tried dual layer burning yet.

Got me on the search! I did search but at a DVD burning forum. Got to find out what brand DVD-DL burner my Sony RA desktop has in it.
