Im getting ready to buy 19x8 axis hagans with 235/35/19 toyo tires from wheel max. If I put them on my cl-s without springs will it look stupid? I wont be able to get springs for a while Thanks for the input

It will look really really silly. Drop it first then buy the rims.

Why are you not able to get the springs?

exactly...your car will lokk 10X's better just from springs on the stock tire/wheel combo...but add 19's to the 4x4 fender gap that's already there and you'll just magnify the gap...no one will even see your wheels they'll just be looking at the huge fender well gap

I'm not gettin' this. No matter the rim size, the outside diameter of the tire is about the same. So the gap would be the same. It must be an illusional concept because of the larger rim. Come back.

It is just an illusion, but the wheel gap will look much much worse. DO NOT GET AFTERMARKET WHEELS WITHOUT A DROP! I have 19s and Comptech springs and the gap still looks pretty big, but it looked OK on the stock wheels.

umm there is less rubber on the tire with plus sized tires and wheels which means the gap is bigger than originally w/stock tires and wheels

i.e.

235/35/19 vc. 215/50/17

see the middle # for both sizes i.e. 35 vs 50? well since there is less sidewall rubber w/the 35 than the 50, the gap would look a lot worse. hope that helps

Are you sure you can get the right offset....i was looking into these wheels a while back(about 6mths ago) and the highest offset they made was +35 and that offset is too low....check the offset before you purchase them.....if they are the right offset please let me know....i really love those wheels...

Drop it first!!! It will kill you to spend all of that money on wheels and tires and then know that you'll have to spend more to get rid on the 4x4 gap!
