autovation pedal install....

Want to see how people w/ the autovation racing pedal kit installed the dead pedal. It looks like you need to drill into the metal behind the carpet.

Any suggestions before I start drillin'?

I just screwed it into the rubber with the self-tapping screws.

I didn't screw in my dead pedal, instead I just used 3m double sided tape. the dead pedal is holding strong one month since it was installed.

I tried the screws, but it was still a loose fit. I will try the 3M tape, good suggestion.

I drilled 1/8" pilot holes and then just inserted the self-tapping screws as the others did above. I've had no problem with it moving.
