Ok, I will add my $0.02 too. I had the Hotshot intake on my 94 Probe GT. When I first bought it I too was paranoid about it so everytime it rained I would remove the pipe and just put the cone filter on. After awhile I got sick of doing that so I just drove with it on and did the cone filter thing in the winter. Never had a problem with sucking up water but the filter did fall off while I was driving once, I hit a pothole and it just flew off I watched as a couple cars swerved out of the way. I had to run across 3 lanes of traffic to pick the damn thing up, man to be young and stupid again...
PROBE BROTHER!!!
haha.. I was on CUT eibach racing springs. I had the same
thing happen to mine. I had a huge dent in the filter basket.

post your ride... I wanna see it!!! This pos car was probably
my most nostalgic car.

When the first Probe was introduced, I remember seeing one and thinking it was so modern.

Years later, I remember reading an article which stated the first generation Probe was one of the top 3 cars ever produced for audio. Apparently, the shape and dimensions of the interior are near perfect for sound reflection and accoustics.

Ahh memories.

I just sold my 97 PGT four weeks ago to buy my new TL-S.

I loved that car. As Car and Driver said, "you'd lose your nerve before you'd lose your grip".

But I needed to get a four door sedan, and this seemed like my best bet.

Since we're showing pictures....

I owned a '93 PGT. I would say it was a reliable car being that I put 192,000 miles on it (original engine, orignal AT tranny). I enjoyed the car..it handled great, but the interior fit and finish sucked and the paint was horrible!
