I have a 2003 CLS 6 speed and I was wondering how I can make the door locks lock automatically when i put it in gear, or if you lock the doors if they unlock when you turn the car off. My 98 Integra gsr used to do this but my Cl doesnt, I have to lock and unlock it with the switch on the drivers door. I dont know if there is a way to turn it on. I just find it odd that my integra did this but my Cl which is much higher luxury than my Integra doesnt. My friend thought maybe there was a way to turn it on and off by holding the unlock button down and turning the key on.

By the way I have the keyless entry remote, so I am not talking about that, just about when you get in the car and want to lock the doors I have to do it manually. Those who own or owned Integras may be familiar with what im talking about. Any help would be appreciated.

 

You can't with the stock system.You would need to replace it with an aftermarket alarm like a Viper.

 

yeah bro after market alarm or get a kit for the power door locks( thats the cheapest way to go) it wud still be triggered via ur factory unit (input relays).

 

CL-S does not have that feature, the 04+ TL does

 

Alright, Thanks for all the input. Ill just deal with it, I just thought maybe it came factory and could be turned on and off but oh well. I love everything else about the car, so this very minor thing wont get to me.

 

When the battery on my car was dying a couple months ago it would automatically lock the doors after I started driving. Crappy part was that you have to manually unlock them when you get to your destination.

Yeah it was really weird. That was the first thing I noticed, then it started struggling a bit to turn over.

 

Thats crazy, I have a code3 alarm, and it locks the doors when you engage the gearing. Im not to crazy about it.
