Auto Insurance Q

Long story short, State Farm screwed up on my quoted premiums (or they could have just lowballed me) and I now owe them $1k. Given my policy is about to expire, would I see any hit on my credit (or anything else) if I just flake on payment and have them cancel my policy?

If you have the detail in writing as far as what you owed (and it shows you were current on your payments) I would have them keep the price the way it was or just walk.

I get a statement once a month from USAA showing what I owe for that month or how much it would be to pay the next six months off. If they all of a sudden came up and said I owed them a bunch more b/c of a mistake I would say sorry, and start shopping.
