Audi Allroad
I raced one of these this morning from about 100 to 140. It has the same 2.7T engine as the S4. We were even until about 120 when VTEC kicked in. At 140, I was at least 5 cars ahead. I don't think the car was stock but I don't think it was chipped either. The guy had some banner on the back but I was going too fast to read it.

yea, my local audi dealership has a Silver S6 sitting in the showroom floor. Personally, its too big to be any practical and too heavy to be any fast. Even with a 340hp, its still not enough.

with a little work, that 340 could be near 380-now that is a grocery getter. The S3 is definatly a badass car, i saw a bunch of those in germany this summer. the S3 has the 1.8T correct. that is a lot of juice for a tiny car.

Here are some specs on the Audi allroad quattro:
250 hp @ 5800 rpm
258 lb*ft @ 1850-3600 rpm
4167 lbs (manual) / 4233 lbs (tiptronic)
0-60: 6.8 (manual) / 7.3 (tiptronic)
speed is electronically limited to 130 mph
The CL-S with headers puts out roughly 300 hp and weighs 3510 lbs. Speed is electronically limited to 150 mph. Horsepower is what matters at high speed, not torque. The CL-S with headers has the horsepower advantage and the weight advantage in this case. The allroad won't even take the CL-S off the line because of the extra weight. An S4 is a totally different story.

I am not doubting the story but you have to have some SERIOUS power to pull ahead at 120 to 140 to be ahead 5 car lengths. I would say at least 100 more hp. Aerodynamics plays a big part too. So the ALlroad could slow down as it is a mini suv.

I know Audi posted those stats for the AllRoad, but from what I read elsewhere it is not nearly that fast.
Just in case you don't believe me, look it up in Motor Trend (not the definitive source, but can give you a decent estimation of what it runs) 8.1 seconds 0-60 (auto). Edmunds states 7.7 seconds, so I have no doubt that with headers you were able to easily pull away
