Attempting timing belt change.

A few questions...

1) I want to confirm that an 01 type S has a tensioner. (That's what I got from using the search button)

2) I'm going to replace the crank pulley with the UR one and wanted to make sure no other pullies were necessary.

3) Does the water pump absolutely need to be replaced as well or can I let it slide? If so how much does the water pump part generally cost?

After helping ghost_master with his cams on the 3.0, doing the timing belt is more than likely going to be a PITA and now I know why it's so expensive.

The water pump can be had here http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...prddisplay.jsp for $92.63.

I think the only pulley that will get you any gains is the crank pulley... or so I've read. I'll let someone else answer the other questions.

The rationale behind replacing the water pump is that you have to remove it, and if you are changing the timing belt, than you already have 100k on the pump which is when you can expect them to start failing, so you might as well replace it. The labor to change it on its own is pretty high so think about that.
