Attempted to race a WRX!
Decided to go to Starbucks tonight (had a craving for a chocolate brownie frapachino). Pulled out onto a 6-lane (Montgomery Village Ave.) which is a normal local street around here) and tried to get into the far left lane. A car was pulling up fast behind me and wouldn't let me get the whole way over. 
So, I ended up in the middle lane (with the WRX on my left). We stopped at a light and waited. I put it in neutral and hit the gas a few times. The dude in the WRX also did the same (you could hear the BOV--I think it was a BOV??? [it was a turbo all the same]).
I knew I'd get killed, but I've never raced a WRX before, and wanted a baseline before adding my Zex kit next week.
So, the light turns green, and I punch it for all she's worth! I looked back in my rear view mirror to see that I was 8-10 car lengths ahead of him!
No shit!
He had stalled!!!!!!!!

I let off the gas, and could hear people honking behind him!!
I just chuckled, and went to Starbucks. Yum, Yum!

Like I said, I knew I'd get walked, but what the hell!
I was quite amused to look back and see the line of traffic that was building behind him!
BTW; the frappachino was great!
