Thumbs down attempted break in

So today I went to get into my car and the body had 3 cracks right next to the door where the latch might be.
When sitting in the car I noticed it all day.
At first I blame my girl like what the f did you do.
The car was not out of my sight all day so I was just starting bs for nothing.

After fully inspecting the car.
other door had the same damage except the damage was on the door on the other side and both window chrome moldings were bent, looks to be from prying.

Filed my claim so it looks like I will be seeing paint again.

I don't know why someone would pry inbetween the doors.
Maybe a stupid country theif.
Easy spot would be to pop the door handle.
But with 2 blinking lights why bother.
It has to have been someone from outside my neiborhood.
Every one around me knows my car sits about 5 feet from my bedroom window.
And just about everyone is older people.

That's why I have a .357 eff trying to use a 9mm and put 3 or 4 shots into someone, I use 1 bullet.

Military way 1 shot 1 kill.

Damn....that's sucks. I had my 95 GT mustang broken into similar to yours but they ended up busting the rear side window. Nothing was stolen though. I bought my Acura about a month later and the apartment security officer left a note on everyones door about increased vehicle break ins. The following month I moved. Hope its a quick fix!~

well my garage has a nice setup up, only 2 points of entry and I have a treadmill at the back door and fridge by the window so if they try something, I have time to go outside to shoot their ass.

Being strapped is wonderful

I just moved into a place with a garage a couple months ago. I am researching camera systems now to put outside the house just in case.

Add a shock sensor. The prying would have triggered it.

I told her that I called you guys first and was told I did not need to.
She said they would not do that.
I said ok.
Then she said you just had a claim and you did not follow threw with it.
I told her I was walked all thew way threw by you,and their insurance paid.
she said O
then she says I will have to pay $250 deductible rude like I would say awe forget it.
I said thats fine.
then she started kinda acting normal giving the address she's wants me to go to or I could pick mine own.
So I said no I will go to the shop of your choice for the estimate.
Then she started asking like a ass about other damages rudly again.
I told her about me leaving center caps on my motor and the hood falling because of the wind.
and she was drilling why didn't I called to have fixed.

Damn that sucks to have someone do that. Both my CL's had attempted thefts, my 2nd one they stole the clutch i was putting in out of the trunk still in its packaging. Good luck getting it fixed, and get shock/tilt sensors!

Good news and bad news.
They are paying for the whole doors, jams, and rear quarter.
I went to the same shop because he was going to add another coat of flakes to the trunk and bumper anyway.
After talking to him he said they only priced it for regular paint but,
he knows the guy that wrote the estimate and said:
He can get the added funds no problem and the adjuster said if I needed more money it would be no problem when I was there.
My paint guy saidif I can find a new bumper and a hood he will probabally be able to get enough to repaint the whole car.

Now the bad news,
I've recently spent 450 on exhaust last week.
I spent alot of money the last couple weeks that I really did not need to spend.clothes,sneakers,toys.
Alot on the endo
yesterday 175 to start a welding class and still have to buy a helmet, gloves etc.probablly another 200 beans
"And now I need to dig up dough for a bumper and hood". So the car can be fresh again.

ya,you are probablly right but,
I'm thinking I should get it done, then it will be done.
I'm down to about 700 left to pay on the car then I will have another $240 a month in my pocket.

I did just register for a welding class thats starts next sat.
level 1,2,3 .
Each class is 4 months 175 per.
I'm not sure what type of certificates I will receive but,
It's most certainlly the best step I've taking in awhile to start some prioritys.
It's been getting pretty boring not working for the last year, spending dough of what ever, playing with my car,bs'n on the pc and cheifing like the head hancho.
Now it's time to move forward with education 1st (priority 1,)

How bad is your bumper/hood right now? They can't be fixed (not sure if cheaper than buying new) and re-painted in its current condition?

Hood can be fixed.
The bumper is all done.
The last tab all the way to the left is ripped out the next 2 tabs are bent so even when thos clip sometimes they will need to be recliped once and a while.
2 tabs under the hoods inner panel is ripped.
Then some of the lower grill plastic is cracked on the top of the grill.
and some flaking paint in front of the lower grill because of the stress.
None of the damages are seen except the flaking paint.
I just know its their.
I back up in my yard when I was really low and ripped half the bumper off.
The hood got a couple of little dent from the inside out.
I put my center caps on my engine and the wind blew my hood close and cracked the paint their.

Just droped the car off for paint.
I did not get a new bumper. It was 350 shipped.
Far as I know he's going to paint from the doors back with
the insurance money. Figures the front is the only place where it really don't look that great and could use new paint.
I told him I could give another 200 towards what ever he could do.
since I had to pay a $250 deductible.
Life is so funny,I had cash to complete the rest earlier this month now this month I had about $900+ in extra bills this month not including the car.
Or said he could write me a bill for whatever he wanted to do extra and I could pay here and there.
He was mumbling like, sure we can do something.
Then I said if there no way to strech the insurance money far enough, just do whats on the slip.
Lets see if I get anything extra done or not.
