Approaching 50k miles

As I approach 50k miles and my basic warranty expires, is there reason bring the car in and have them look it over, and make sure everything is okay or see if they can predict any problems i am going to have...

I'm getting nervous as this car has been perfect and I dont want to have a problem just after eclipsing 50k ...

thanks in advance

My best guess is that if you bring in a car for them to check out, without telling them of any problems they will not find any problems. Just keep taking good care of your car, and remember that your Tranny is good for 100,000 miles.. Happy motoring.. YMMV

Yeah... I need to bring it for:
1) Replace the rear view mirror... It just shakes like a rattle snake and fell twice!
2) Re-install the driver's door interiror handle. It is coming off.
3) repaint the mufflers as per TSB.

This what I remember for now.. maybe there are more things to do..

TSB stands for Technical Service Bulletin. The dealers get these from the factory, so when we go in to complain about problem X the service techs know to do Y to the car.

Someone has posted pdf's of the actual TSB sent to dealers, but a quick search didn't turn up anything. If your really interested in seeing one, send me a PM w/ your email addy and I can forward you an example (I've got a couple saved on my home computer).
