Apexi WS 2 Exhaust
Anyone with the apexi world sport 2 exhaust system on their car? It's a bit different from the 1st version, with smaller tips. Just wondering because I am considering changing from the greddy's.

Dude, that world sport 2 exhaust is awsome, it will fill out the cutouts in our bumpers perfectly with the oval shape. Do they make them for cl? or do you have to get a universal one?

Yeah it is on eBay for around $468 plus $100 for shipping
If I do go with a full catback system i'll be picking this one up. However i'm thinking about just going with the Comptech B-Pipe and stock mufflers.

Why do some of these world sport 2 ones look totally diffrent.
There is this one
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/APEXi...spagenameZWD1V
and this one
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/APEXI...spagenameZWD1V
the latter looks like the newer oval tip but the other is supposed to be the same thing but it looks totally diffrent. whats up with that?

i would think the second one is actually the way it looks, since its an actual photo of the exhaust, the first looks like a file photo (the ones on top)

I'm pretty sure the Accord V6 exhaust would need modification to fit our cars. I wouldn't want to spend 500+ on a brand new system to modify it to fit. They do have a application directly for our cars. If I find it I'll post it up.

Total installation cost was like $120 though. (including custom fab'ing)

Where the Ypipe branches off, teh dude cut the left one, extended it w/ a small piece he made himself, welded it all together, then spray painted it black.

I called my wholesaler today and he told me the world sport 2 is made for the CL. The list price is 699 but I can give it to you guys for 510 plus shipping. I'm thinking of getting the same exhaust, I have dealt with apexi in the past and their craftsmanship is awesome...

sjsharks11: The apexi dunks are old exhausts, you cant get the universale anymore. The only exhaust that sorta looks like the dunk is the blitz nur spec but those are really loud.
mrsteve: Yes, the car model that the exhaust specifies is the acura CL. The one posted on the apexi website isnt updated, that is for the world sport not the world sport 2. I might purchase the exhaust this weekend, I'll take pics once I do.

Allrighty, I got one of my guys working on it right now. We're trying to get a part number for the WS2 for the CL, and the WS1 exhaust part number is 104-KH23 and thats specifically for the CL and not the accord. Once I get the WS2 exhaust information i'll let you guys know.

resolution?
so has anyone figured out if it (116-kh12 for the 98-02 accord) will fit our cars? I haven't been able to find the 104-kh23 for our cars. Is the Kh23 strictly for a type s or will it also fit a clp. also i believe there is a difference between the 104 and 116 prefixes. I was browsing at a site and it stated that the 104 was not a complete cat back system

I have dual Neuspeed designed for CL-S and b-pipe has to be trimmed on my AV6 to fit and weld the flange back on. The rest is fine.
I was actually thinking about single WS2 setup if I sell the current dual Nuespeed, it is 60mm pipe 100mm tip (2.3" & 3.9" tip). Less weight and "sleeper" (4-banger) without badging.

I agree, WS1 (My RS's) are slightly on the big side. But you get used to 'em. . And then you start to LOVE THEM.
Those look alil' weird though... like they're hanging too low.

single exhaust
i don't really see the point in the dual exhaust, isn't it just a Y pipe? dummy duals?
I'm personally going with a 115mm gunmetal N1 muffler, or a nur spec. Seems to me that two mufflers are just less efficient. Does anyone know if they make a cap for the bumper?

Adventurist.
I have contacted numerous vendors about the availability of Apexi exhausts on the CL. They discontinued them last time I talked with them. Hence the reason I picked up the Neuspeed exhaust.
