APEXi AFC Neo Install on 01 CL-S
I want to install the NEO myself to save 70 bucks. I have one question though, theres 2 power wires and 2 ground wires on the neo's harness. Do I need to splice both of the wires onto the ecu's harness? or only one of them. Thanks for the help.
Im going to have dyno sheets later on next week after I get tuned.

Read your post a bit too late PowerRev, after I posted this thread I just went downstairs and installed it, I didn't wire them a inch apart though, they are tapped in on the same spot. Install was pretty easy, made it much easier pulling the stock harness away from the footwell to get more slack and space to splice and crimp.
Im getting mine dyno'ed hopefully next week, wanted to do it this weekend too but their dyno is down.
If you use the install manual that came with the NEO its pretty self explanatory, our car is under Honda Inspire with the J32A2 motor. Im a little electrically inclined though so it might be a bit confusing for others.

On a side note, I toke the car for a run after install and it felt like the car wasn't pulling before 5k..... I have a feeling my IMRC isn't opening. Its weird like im waiting for VTEC to kick in than when it switches over I can feel the pull. It was never like that before. Im going to check my IMRC in the morning to see.
Another thing I noticed is that my idle seems to dip below 750 now, if I gas it to like 3k or so and let the rpm drop it dips lower and I feel the car shudder. I made sure that I set the throttle open and closed positions as it says in the manual. Any ideas? I think my IACV is a little dirty or my air filter is a bit wet from todays downpour, my car was running real sluggish today during the rain since my foglight area is open and the air filter was getting wet/damp today on the freeway.

My car ran funny after I installed the UniChip. After a little of fiddeling with it and a few dyno runs my car ran perfect.

The car is running perfect now, I reset the ecu and reset the neo to default settings. Followed the directions in the install manual for basic setup and the car is fine now. Car is getting tuned on wensday hopefully.
edit: and my IMRC is opening up correctly

Kris right? I just recognized your name, its Gary the guy who bought your pulley. I saw your car at shop when I had my pulley installed. Theres a guy selling his neo for 150 shipped in the black market. You should jump on it.
edit: if your running a supercharger with the hbp you should be looking into the greddy e-manage not the neo but if your N/A go with the neo.

How come you did the terminal drawing you did. I talk to horsepowercrazy and he said to do the 2002 accord diagram. And he is the one that had a gain of 9hp. I thought there was someone that gained 15hp. But there is a couple more wires involved between the digrams. Like the VTM sensor... What is that?

Do you have your NEO manuals? you snip the stock VTM sensor wire going into your ecu and splice the wire comming from evo into your NEO harness. I really suggest having a shop do it if your at all confused, you could seriouslly fuck something up.

Ok, hotwire was left alone, I believe by default it is 1 in and 1 out. Pressure was set to 6 in and 6 out. Everything seems to be good
Now a couple more mods then getting it tuned.
