I don't know the reason why the inside rear view is broken..
I think the inner part which consists of liquid substances are broken...
I just stopped by Honda dealer ship( There's no Acura in my town..
small college town)and asked the price for that... they said they
have never been doing change that mirror before and called 65bucks per hour...
the part is $103.95. I think that it'll be better do this job myself...
Is there anyone who know how to do this job??

 

How old is you Acura and is it still under warrenty? I've read that they will change them if the car is still under warrenty. Call an Acura dealer and take a drive on over. Have them deal with it.

 

Using a screwdriver you have to remove the black plastic cap at the base of the mirror that touches the glass. Unplug the connector. Now just slide the mirror off, slide the new mirror on and reverse. Did it before, took less than 2 minutes.
