Anyone want to help out a friend?

A northern NJ Acura dealer who shall go nameless has a few (maybe) of the infamous PAA Red CAI's at a bargain price of only $200. What, you say? Aren't these the famous or infamous Xephyr CAI's with no factory support? What's to support? The important parts are a piece of aluminum tube, a K&N filter and an AEM bypass valve. The important parts are warranted by AEM and K&N so what's to lose? If you have been hesitating, don't and call this number 201-587-9000.

To my knowledge, quality and design were never an issue. Besides it looks like PAA may be out the money if they don't get sold. I would consider one. But that would mean that I had spent $415 on mine. Seeing as I have not gotten a refund on my order. And it looks like he walked with money from myself and others.

PAA has them instock. So there is no worry with regards to shipping and delivery.

I am only supporting this because it helps out Wayne, and not X.

I don't expect PAA to reveal how much they actually paid for it, but..maybe a little lower price would put those borderline people over the edge.

It's great for those in the vicinity of NJ, but not for those that are too far. We've seen on this board, dealers across the country that try to explain that factory defects are caused by the things that the owners do to their cars. I even read that a dealer tried to blame the actuator not working on "agressive driving."

PAA is great for backing up the product since they offer it in their line of performace products, but to warn those out of NJ, i believe its a big risk to take (from a legal standpoiunt).

my 2 cents
