I'd be really cautious about engines coming out of Florida of late .With all the weather they have had the last few weeks I would not be surpised if those are from flood cars that some enterprising (read unscrupolous) individual is trying to turn a quick buck on.

They both have one bad rod... flood... Sure sign of hydrolock.

Yep. Plus 2 totaled cars with one bent rod each? Surely a dealership wouldn't replace the whole short block to fix a bent rod.

Actually, they just might. I think the labor involved in taking apart the whole motor actually amounts to how much it would cost just to get a new motor and throw it right in. Labor is what costs the most.

i habe a J32a2 for sale ttwo pistons and ring sets are needed
