anyone used accord 4 cyl springs on your cls?
a friend of mine said it would give me the drop i want so im thinking about doing it. he claims its safe... the springs are sprint and they drop a 4 cyl accord 2.25 all the way around.

Still trolling
It depends on your car. THe 97 accord suspension is the same as the first gen. SO if you have 97 Accord 4cl springs, and you ride a 1st gen 4cl CL, you should be fine.

Well, personally, I don't go for the brand Sprint. And since this drops a 4 cyl Accord 2.25", it'll probably drop you're CL-S 4" and it'll probably ride very harsh.
I had accord 4 cyl ground control springs on my Accord V6 in the past, and it dropped it waaay too much. Since it was so low, the coils kept hitting each other to the point where it stripped the coating and it started rusting.

i have a 2 finger gap all the way around. i have h&r race in the front and pro kit in the back. im riding on stock wheels and tires. i'd like a no finger gap. i think its the h&r-s that make my ride so damn rough...
mt6forlife, yes the cls is alot heavier thatn the 4 cyl accord. thats why a friend said to put them on. he claims my car will ride the same as it does now and the springs wont HIT and RUST. this dude has a performance shop and i've known him for 7 years so im trusting what he is saying i just hoped a member on the board had done this already.
jucee187,nice ride bro. i wish you had side shot on flat ground!

The shop I had my Pro Kit springs put on accidently put the 4 cylinder springs on my CLS and for the day I drove it you could really feel it hit. It was just too low in my opinion. You will get the low ride you are looking for, but I doubt the ride will stay the same.

sprint sucks from what i've heard. i would never put 4cyl springs in a cl-s either.
here's an idea, get the eiback sportlines, problem solved.
