Anyone recognize this ?

Now you may wonder why I ask ?

Car appears to have :
Lowering springs atleast
RSX steering wheel
Shift Knob
Pedals
Debadged

I have talked to the seller which is a smaller dealership and he says they have purchased more than one car from the guy who they bought from . The only problem he stated is that the radio does not work, apprently it hasnt in around 4 months.

Anyways , lmk if this is familiar to anyone .

I saw that ad online. It's honestly not a bad price even with the bad radio. Depending on how much it costs to fix, I'd offer them that much less.

Also, it's just me... but I strongly oppose buying a car with so much as an aftermarket intake on it. I'll only ever buy a car bone stock unless I know the seller personally and I know the car was well cared for its whole life.

Is this the one in fullerton I told you about? Clean title and no major accidents? Close enough for you to go physically look at? Could radio problem be related to steering wheel change? My guess is they will come off the price at least $1000 to get the car moved.

Carfax just the basic one that you get when you google the VIN says that this vehicle failed the CA emmissions test on 1/23/13 and doesn't show a passing entry then it was put up for sale a little over a month later. I'm thinking it probably was something the last owner didn't want to deal with so he put it up for sale and it also kind of explains why its selling for only $5999.

Yeah I would look at that. I did a quick search for you. When I purchased my car I found that California shows recent record of smog test. Seems like the car failed 3 time this year and finally got it passed 3/1/13

here is the link. http://www.bar.ca.gov/pubwebquery/ve...pubtstqry.aspx

seems like a good price for mileage. I paid 6.5k for 133k miles but all major maintenance was completed

Here is the carfax I found for the car I believe. I just google the vin. http://www.carfax.com/VehicleHistory...YA41663A016004

good luck

Seeing that this car failed 3 times and now its for sale at a small dealership I wouldn't trust that the issue that caused it to fail is fixed especially since I personally know 2 guys that own small dealerships that have some guys that they can pay to have it pass. I know first hand because one of them helped me for a fee with one of my cars (BMW) in the past. They pay to have it pass so when they sell it they can get the registration for the buyer then in 2 years when its time to have it smogged again it fails.

No the technician won't even start the test unless you have that stuff because its a waste of time and money to realize it after the fact plus it failed 3 times in the span of a month so even if the tech was dumb once it wouldn't happen 3 times.
