I don't know about you guys but since the movie 2fast2 furious the new model eclipses have been showing off and acting as if they are driving some racing car. Post some kills on these

 

I was in up state N.Y with my wife and 2 other people and all our luggage and I beat the eclips v6 I have s type with a 6 speed.I also raced one when I was alone and it was a joke had 2 car lenghts in a 1 block race and had to stop for the light

 

In my Maxima, I raced a modded Eclipse GT-S (intake/exhaust with usual cosmetic garbage) one night on I287 here in NJ about three months ago. I raced him from 75mph to about 130mph (speedo); I stayed a car length or two ahead of him until approx. 130mph when he nailed his brakes (I coasted back down to my 75mph cruise speed.)

He hung in there pretty good but, I never want to see those speeds again.

 

Yeah its pretty funny that the current gen eclipse crew really thinks their cars are fast and furious.

 

I've beaten NUMEROUS GS's and 2 GT's in my LS integra. I beat one black GT that a kid I know owns and it has AEM CAI and an HKS exhaust. We raced to 80 from a stop and I was still ahead by a car when we shut down. The other one might have been an auto, the black one def. was... anyway with 200HP they should have won. The 4 cylinder ones are slow as piss, 5 speed or auto. And YES they all think their car is the bomb diggity.

 

I raced a kid in a newer Eclipse and it wasn't that close. The older turbo models are the ones to watch out for.

 

I got smoked by an older turbo eclipse, but it had a lot of mods.

 

i raced a gt from a roll so from about 20 to 60 a pulled a car length shut it down because i had to merge
