Anyone manage to get an estimate to shave the "A" on the trunk

Has anyone gotten an estimate to how much it'll cost to shave the "A" emblem and to fill up the 2 holes that it leaves behind? If so post it up! I want to shave it ALL off...

Depending on the color, year of your car, & how much time it has spent in the sun, the paint might be faded some and when you take the letters off you might still be able to read what it says, only in the paint itself.

Probably 200-300 bucks. It's worth the investment, gives your car a much cleaner look.

the chance of your paint being faded is amazingly slim. i debadged mine at 45k miles and it sits in the sun outside. Not faded at bit w/ black paint so dont worry about that id say.

Did somebody say shaved ass!

Here you go...

Sorry for the small pic!

Although I don't have an estimate for you on just the debadging, painting the whole trunklid will be necessary. This will run you betweeen 2 to 3 bills.

I was charged $75.00 to get the A holes welded, so include this in your estimate along with the painting, sanding, buffing, etc.

You'll probably run between 375 to 450 easy.

You could do it for $7.50 at autozone

Strip the label off, get some of those pimp LED valve stem cap things and wire them in to your brake light, just thread a screw through the holes to attach them to. You'll be the envy of every Honda fanboy in town! Then, next weekend, you'll see a 91 tercel lowered on 12inch pep-boys wheels, with the same mod, and know, that you're a trendsetter.

(yes I'm aware this isn't www.lowermyastrovanandputcurbfeelersonit.com - and I am just kidding)

Are there any "H" badges in the current Honda line-up that will fit ours?

If not, how about getting one that can cover up the two holes? I mean, it's not going to rust just because you put an emblem over it, right?
