Anyone know where to get the rubber tubing that holds the CAI together

I'm taking my bypass off, my car doesn't see much rain, but I don't have the rubber tube that went where the bypass was.

Any ideas where to get one? I checked Home Depot and Lowe's but no luck.

BTW, my CAI is 2.75".....I think the ones on the CL are 3"

If all else fails, call AEM. Maybe you can purchase the tubing separately.

I'm sure aem would sell them seperately.

If not try the plumbing dept. at Home Depot.

What's the matter Neil?

Too good for duct tape. j/k

It's a 3" rubber/silicone coupler. PM Scalbert... He knows where to find them.

I went through an AEM distributor as I couldn't find anything at Lowes/Home Depot. I'm sure they sell them, but the poeple working there are retarted, and it's next to impossible to find shit if you don't know where to look.

With that said, I think I paid $20 bucks for that little thing. A complete ripoff, but at the time I had no other choice.

Turns out Scalbert said to go "somewhere" and ask for "something", but I don't remember where the somewhere is, or what the something is called...

I paid $22 at a shop for the AEM rubber piece.

rip off, but like Scrib I couldn't drive around all day looking for deals with my intake wide open.

I bought mine here: http://www.autoaddictions.com/home.htm
The Allentown store is right up the street from where I work.
It was like 4-bucks or something w/o the clamps.
Give them a call and maybe they can ship you one.

I did find a couple of places online, but most wanted 8-10 dollars plus another 4-5 for shipping.

My suggestion is that it doe not have to be rubber. Any 3" hose will do the job.

Yeah I already checked Google, but when they charge $14.00 shipping for a $10 part, I start looking elsewhere.

Hey Shawn just so as not get them confused,

What exactly did you ask them for at Autoaddictions to get that coupling?

Thanks.
