Anyone interested in going to 75-80 Nov. 3?
I'll be going with my neighbor on sunday Nov. 3 to 75-80 dragway(weather permitting) Got to get under a 14.5. Seeing if anyone else wants to go. Hopefully nomad and dustbuster4 will be there. Would like to have a good showing if we could. You can test and tune from 10-5 for $20. Hope to see some acura's there!

Don't know if I can make it on the 3rd but this Sunday is excellent for me.
Most of Saturday is open for me as well as Friday night.
I'll see as the time gets closer.

He just has the stock turbo with some new tubing, eibach springs, turbo timer, gauges, and a couple of other minor mods, otherwise stock. he hasn't run his WRX at the track. He likes road racing more and is building his GTI to race at the SCCA, then will build up his WRX. Try to make it on the 3rd if you can.

Yeah thats what the guy at the staging lane said!! The GS400 is a very big car plus the the 20 inch triple chrome rims don't help any . I think I will be in the LOW 14s with them on but don't know for sure until this Sunday Plus 75 & 80 is really not a good track to be honest because it has a decline in it.

Yeah, I'd like to see that WRX. I may be getting one in a year or so if I get rid of the CL. We'll see.
I't see if i can get any faster times under my belt. I've only been down the track 3 times total so this time maybe i'll have a bit more concentration.

no, since it's getting colder and the racing season is about over with, I most likely won't put it in until the spring. Just want to get a baseline of my performance right now to compare it with later when I put the NOS on (and probably headers too).

probably won't race on the 3rd if it rains or snows like they're calling for this weekend, even if it doesn't, the upper30's is too cold for me! maybe another time.

I got some good photos of your ride and your races.
Hit me up sometime and I'll try to meet and get em to you. Can't scan them in though. I don't have that stuff.

ok, sounds good. Maybe the next time I go to the track, because it probably won't be the 3rd now. I'll have some new photos of the car (interior, exterior, engine, exhaust) posted soon in the 2nd gen gallery.

If you'll be going to the mall or something this weekend or a B&N bookstore i can drop by and give you the photos. I think you may like to post one up in the gallery.
Good motion shot of you going down the track. Also one of the others you have some tire smoke as you launch at the green light.

I"d like to see those. It would be cool to post one on the forum. The only problem is, I'm in Frederick, I'm hardly ever in Baltimore unless it's for work, which is rare. If you want to come down this way, let me know, or you can mail them if you'd like. Let me know.

You got the jump on him though... until he hit the switch. Dust got the holeshot but you were ahead by a small amount within the 60' area, then the NO2 hit and he beat you by .3? Not too shabby I'd say.
Dust, you watch the video yet?
I'm getting geared up for a GREAT weekend for racing this week.
Rally Australia all weekend and then BTCC - 2 races Sat and ETCC - 1 race Sunday!
I'm gonna record all of it I can. We can probably swap tapes if you want to see all these races too.
Can't wait!!!!

I really appreciate the video. I watched it Sunday after returning from the track! It was a nice way to end the weekend, watching the pros run.
It was a bonus to see Cunningham win both races. Score 2 for Acura!

The new RSX needs a lot of work. I'm glad they didn't just dump the Integras cause then Acura would be lagging at the end of the pack.
Hey, BTCC has the Honda team driving the new Civic R. Hope they do well. We'll see this weekend!

Hey guys, got the rear camber adjusters on from Comptech, MAN! my car handles so much better now. The service manager at Rosenthal Acura put them on for me and aligned the car, the alignment is perfect now, it should help my launch. He also told me that you should never put your front tire psi below 28 on radials, the underinflation creates a cupping effect and you actually LOSE traction! He drags and is an expert on acuras, so I'll take his advice. The rears' are fine up to 40 psi. Just thought I'd pass along the info. I'll be at the track sunday, looks like the weather will be great now. I'll put the tire pressure up more this time.
Oh, got the Type-S door sills, putting them on today, they look great!

Hey guys, got the results from sunday's race, I was pretty pleased. But first, a drag Corvette hit an older model M3 and totally messed up his driver's side and ran him off the track. Another guy with a twin-turbo mustang ran into the guardrail, and some other person lost a driveshaft down the track. It was pretty exciting. Some nice cars were there--new supercharged mustangs, z06's, a Viper Rt10, M5, E55 AMG, Carrera GT2, a 12 sec sweet WRX, an rx-7 and several Eclipse turbo's--one running in the 11's, just to mention a few. I met two guys there with 2 eclipses, we ran three -wide on I-70 for fun afterwards. They shot some video. When the I get the link, I'll post it. It was a fun day. Oh, NOMAD, my neighbors WRX got rear-ended! He's really pissed, it may be totalled.

Whoa! That sucks for the M3!
Was it a Test and Tune guy?
Insurance won't cover him either if they find out he was on the track!
Those guys are crazy in some of the OPS cars. They never lift off the throttle! That's why they go into the rails etc.
Glad you had a good time. I would have liked to see that.

If it ever happens to me, I'll claim a hit and run and file under uninsured motorist. That's what I did when my ex hit my car in the parking lot, I didn't want to get the police involved, so I filed an uninsured claim, she paid the deductible, the car was fixed and my insurance didn't go up. Hopefully I won't have to do that again!
