Anyone here take out a N/A Supra?

Here is what the topic says:
We were all racing at the same time down the I-5 south towards Newport Beach and usually around 9:30 theres really no traffic. I'm in the carpool lane and i see this celica gt with all these stickers and TRD down the side of the car. Me and my wife laugh and he goes for it so i downshift to 4th gear and start pulling cars on him. By the time i shut down i was 5 cars ahead. I look in my rearview mirror looking for cops and i see a camaro approaching really quick. He gets beside me then i started to shit my pants thinking it was a Z28 and i knew i was going to get owned. He pulls next to me and i see no badges so i slowdown and i see a RS sticker on the back so i'm like i'm going to own this guy. I pulled out of the carpool lane and we lined up then the calica lines up right next to me also. I slowed down to about 50 and dumped the clutch and started pulling cars on both of them but the camaro was next to me up untill 4th gear then i started to pull on him. Now the Acura TL was infront of us and when we passed him he started to give chase and then for sure i knew i was going to get my ass handed to me and i sure did. The celica ended up getting of the freeway and the camaro gave up i guess so i lined up with the TL and honked 3 times and took off. He was ahead of me by two car in 3rd and three cars in fourth then in fifth i shut down we were hitting like 120 so i slowed down. It was a great freeway racing. I just thought i would share with all of you.

where does the supra come to play?? you say" I slowed down to 50 and dumped the clutch." 2003 tl-s dont have a manual transmission.

I think the story is from the point of few of the Supra driver. My question is: what kind of Supra was it?? MKIII or MKIV??
Head-to-head, the NA MKIV would hand a TL its arse (exc. maybe 04 6MT).

This is not my story and it is from the point of view of the Supra driver. I got this from Supraforums.com
The guys screen name is na_supra94, so that would be a MKIV, and the thread name is actually, "NA supra vs. Camaro RS vs. Celica GT vs. Acura TL type S". So it wasn't one of the new TL's unless he was mistaken.

now a TT supra stock should beat a TLS/CLS. I've run a modded Supra and lets just say after about a second I couldn't read his plates anymore!

does a sc 300 count? i think it uses the 2JZGE like the n/a supra. The one i raced i think the driver couldnt shift cause i was planning on getting my ass :bananahump:
