Anyone having sparkplug misfiring in the hellish cold lately???

symptoms include check engine light, VSA light, and the VSA triangle going on just after startup...car works ok, but not having VSA kinda makes me a lil nervous

been happening for about 3 weeks now...every time i disconnect the battery and reset the check engine light, just comes right back on...sometimes after about 30 seconds, sometimes after a few minutes

only have 32K on the clock

Does that actually disable the VSA system or is it just using the light as a way of telling you there's something wrong?

Floor it off the line and see if VSA intervenes.

I'm in Michigan, and it had been in the low 10, 0's for the past 2 weeks or so. No misfire problems here. Car's an '03 with 16,010 on the odo.

Could you describe the symptoms of misfire? Besides the warning lights coming on?

Nothing like that here, and I had some single digit temps. 03 CLS 15,600mi. But do have a rough idle\shudder when braking or sitting in idle in D5 with foot on brake. This cold weather makes the CLS do some weird stuff.

ya I get the rough idle/shudder when slowing to a stop lately... rpms dip close to 333.... also after re-starting the car very shortly after turning it off.
