I got the letter from acura about a week ago about installing the new powertrain control module.

ANyone have it installed yet ? and is there any difference to the car ?

I scheduled mine about 2 weeks ago. When I called they acted like they never heard of this at all until they checked then they said okay, bring it in. Last Thurdsay I dropped my car off for the "upgrade" and a 45K service. They called me asking all kinds of questions about my letter and asked if I would bring my letter in (it was sitting on the front seat of my car, just in case they needed it). Got another call saying I needed rear brakes and they have to "re-order" the parts for the PCM because their inventory was wrong and they didn't have one in stock. So it ended up with me spending $680 for the 45K and brakes and not getting done what I really intended to have done. I've never really liked the new transmission as much as the old noisy one and was hoping to maybe have it perform better with the new PCM. I'll try again when the parts are in. It's funny because I've always had good dealer experiences and althougth I pretty much got shafted all around that day, I am not mad at all.
