email it to me and i'll host it ... fbazakos@cs.umn.edu

they are cutting badwidth usage of the site, and not allowing attachments on-site.

thanks

Thank you. Dont know how u did that but thanks. Well enjoy folks. I was pretty pleased with the results. I went with 3 other guys 1 with integra ls turbo, 1 with integra type r turbo and another with an integra type r header, exhaust and cai. Was a long yet fun day.

BTW the date is supposed to be 2/1/03. We got too carried away and forgot to change that.

I was like then found that it's STD and not SAE corrected.

But anyhow with OBX and CAI... it's amazing!...

Now.. can some once correct that to SAE... do you know the Temp and Humidity and AP.

Your CAI + OBX headers are giving you mad boost of torque after 5krpms!

Using this amazing calculator:

http://wahiduddin.net/calc/calc_hp_dp.htm

For:

Air Temperature 35.60 degrees F
Altimeter Setting 29.80 inches Hg
Dew Point 35.60 degrees F
Altitude 0 feet

Your results are:
Relative Horsepower 106.4 %
Air Density 1.2747 kg/m3
Relative Air Density 104.1%
Density Altitude -1347 feet
Virtual Temperature 36.9 deg F
Actual Air Pressure 29.81 inches Hg
Actual Vapor Pressure 0.208 inches Hg
Relative Humidity 100%
Dyno Correction Factor 0.94

234.5 STD WHP * 0.94 = 220.43 SAE WHP

Actually, the dyno was done in atglen, PA about 56 miles away from philly. Well i downloaded a program that they told me to download in order to view the files that they saved from the runs onto my disc. I installed the program and did a SAE conversion via using that program and got a horsepower of 229.18. Program is called Dynojet runviewer

What's the story on the huge torque drop between 3500 and 4000?

No problem at all.. it just the fact the torque scale on the right is overblown from 175 to like 220

Well the program does not let me cut, copy or save so i cant get the file onto my hard drive in order to post it on the forum. On top of that, i do not know how acurate the program is as far as converting my saved run files to the sae format. So the best thing i can do is call up the dyno shop. have them convert to sae by using my data files that they saved on their hard drive then having them emailing me that new file and then me posting that new graph up here on the forum. Well, maybe if i have time i can do all that. But as far as i am concerned, that was the graph given to me and that is what i have to post. But the funny thing is that the graph says 200.2 torque but if you follow the torque line, its actually around 199.5 ft-lbs at 5900 rpm at its peek. HP line seems consistent with the data. And the graph states 234.8 HP and 200.2 torque. So if you follow the lines it comes out to be 234.8 hp and 199.5 ft-lbs torque. I apologize for the inconvienence.

Just talked to the dyno shop and they will be emailing me the SAE HP corrected graph sometime tonight so we can see what the figures are from these runs in that format. Stay tuned. So what is the difference from STD HP and SAE HP anyway.

I think that STD is not weather corrected and SAE is... I may be wrong... but 4-5% difference is not out of the question.
