I just smoked with a small rock and cracked my windshield. Has anyone have had any problems after the windshield was replaced?

 

I got mine replaced but i have a 1g CL. No problems at all, no leaks or anything.

 

I just got mine replaced on Tuesday...I parked it at the airport over New Years and came back and it had two huge cracks in it. The insurance luckily covers all of the cost of a new windshield, so we didn't have to pay for it, but I'm curious as to what happened. This is actually my third windshield, my last one was a replacement and I had no problems with it, and no problems with this one so far. I'm running my truck through the car wash tomorrow, so hopefully there are no leaks.

 

i had mine repelaced 3 months after i bought the car just this past november. a rock hit it from a trunk >

when you get it done, be sure to ask for OEM glass! that's what i did, of course it was through my insurance, so i only paid my deductible which is $100, but they showed me the total cost of it, it was $633!!!!

i'm glad i lowered my dedutible.

 

I apid close $550 my dectuble was $500 but I ordered a factory windsield from the dealer. Be warned.. if not installed correctly you may have rubbing and more squeaks...

 

my dealer said that to make sure no warranty stuff comes into play...bring it into the dealership, they have a third party company come in and replace it. Everywhere I called was the same price $600...my deduct. is $100..will do that later....hopefully I have no issues

 

Had my Tl windshield replaced and the stupid rube dropped a bolt between the glass/dash. Not that It rattled any more than normal (a lot), but it had to be removed and redone.

fuckers...

 

Had mine replaced a few months after I bought it. Everything seems to be find now. Insurance delt directly with the glass place, so i have no clue of the cost.

 

I had mine replaced and they messed the seal up (which it is now) and it leaks water in when it rains real heavy

Gotta take it in soon...
