I was watching an auto show the other day and it had a 01'Saturn Coupe turboed w/ 283 hp at the wheels. And what is more impressive they drove it to the show which was in Cali all the way from Pennsylvania. It looked hard!!And did I mention it was a Saturn.

 

i don't know how many people have access to the mods for the Saturn. I saw the car you are refering to at the PHilly auto show. That car is also running 50shot of NOS. I HIGHLY doubt that Saturn will ever encourage people to run NOS in their cars. GM is touring all these cars that have aftermarket setups. I saw SuperCharged GrandAm with like 350 HP. The domestics are basically trying to get into the import market.

Anything can be made fast with money. It is whether people are willing to spend the money on these cars that is the question.

 

Is it the same one that is all set for Drag? Because my friend in Turbo SE-R ripped it a new asshole...
Well not exactly, but he beat it and i was laughing at their crew. A full drag saturn in the 12s v. my friends 13 sec daily driver turbo SE-R...he got a head start...the saturn launched...had trouble shifting...2-3...and then my friend made his last 2-3 shift and shot past the Saturn.
