Anyone with EBC sport rotors - any noise issues? Where to powdercoat?

Hi all,

I just got my EBC sport rotors, yellow stuff pads, and brakelines today, and I just had a quick question before I installed everything. Is saw a comment about wind noise - has that been an issue for anyone? Is it considerable - I mean with the windows down or up and at what speeds? From what reviews I've read so far on this forum, it doesn't seem to have been an issue for people. So these questions go to those that have had the rotors for some time.

Also, I also plan on getting manufactured CL calipers from autozone in addition to the Legend ones to get them all powder coated a dark glossy silver or black. Anyone have any suggestions on where I should look to get them done? In the Seattle area.

Thanks

There is some noise. It not noticable at highway speeds. At lower speeds say under 35 with the windows down you will hear it. I noticed it most when under 30 mph and driving next to a wall or something to reflect the sound.

Either way its not bad and worth the more powerfull brakes. You should not worry about it.

Your gonna love that brake combo! I did.

I am running ebc ultimax rotors, not the sport ones and redstuff pads with no noise at all. I am taking my legend calipers, stock rears and brackets in to a powdercoater on wednesday. When you get the powdercoating done make sure you powdercoat the caliper brackets also. As for where to look i would suggest just using a search engine like google etc and type in powdercoating and your area code and see what pops up. Other options would be to look for recommendations from local car forums, local car shops etc. I think i am going to go with semi-gloss black because I was told he wont be able to perfectly match the silver to my paint, plus you dont really want to draw attention to stock calipers.
