Anyone done angel eyes yet?

I haven't heard of anyone doing this mod lately. But I saw on eBay that you can get the angel eye rings and then you just need to stick them in the headlights and wire them up. Has anyone tried it yet? I was thinking of something like these:

You guys really think it would look that bad? Guessing by the shape of our front ends, I think it might look kinda sick, but I really can't tell. What would be so bad about trying it, would it be considered wannabe BMW rice?

it might look good, and it might not. i just think that angel eyes are more of a bmw trademark, and it might be considered by some as a "bmw wannabe"..which im certain is something that none of us want to be classified as

Someone did it on the TL. I'm going to try to find pics. The angel eyes would have to be custom made...

The angel eyes were incorporated into BMW, but they were not made by them. Hella patented the design and branches off from there. FYI, it's called Celis Technology.

So rice is not the right term.

IMHO, I wouldn't do it.

You can only do it to the high beam. I think it looks good if done correctly.. I have a extra set so I will try to make a set of angel eyes.
