Okay, I'm trying to set up an outing to the dragstrip in Byron, near Chicago. I know the turnout at meets has been pretty good and I do hear a few of you talk about heading out, so where ARE YOU ALL? No one's showing any interest. Comeon guys!

Mods - sorry for posting here, it's just no-one's responding in the club events page and I already have a few takers from the Club-GP side.

Remember, this is NOT a track meet BETWEEN the clubs, jsut a joint get together. No competition, just a T&T day at the track.

Sorry, I usually dont check out club events. Here is something to think about. Great Lakes dragway just redid their ground. Which means good traction. Byron also did this about 6 weeks ago. I woudl prefer great lakes since its closer but i would be willing to go to byron. I will be out of town on the 4th, and would prefer the 11th. Is this possible, or has everything been set for the 4th?

So far, most people on the GP side seem to be preferring the 4th. I'll keep this page updated.

No problem. It seems like it'll be a small turnout. Some of the Gp guys are going on Saturday. I can't because I'm working that day. I just want to go once to see how I can get the CL-S to run stock. hopefuly it won't be too busy! (Hope the bears keep some cars away!) Anyway, like I said, we're usually on the grass on the opposite side of the staging lanes than the entrance to the dragway.
