Anyone changed the DOME light with Polargs or other white bulbs?

If so, how's the fit and what model did you use?

The PIAA 19169's fit all of the interior lights: Dome, doors and map lights. All are easily replaced.

------------------
Black/black CLS
Comptech headers, springs, swaybars
Koni yellows
PIAA 19169 road lamps
Solaris Hi beams
Potenza RE730 225/45/17
Red AEM CAI

Are the PIAA's white? The interior lights currently in the car are yellowish.

This is wrong. The M4s will fit the map lights and doors, but not the dome. The dome is like the M16 but the M16 is a bit too small I heard. I also heard the minimax dome light fits better.

The M16 i have are smaller than the original...i had to play with it a little but i have in such a way that the clamps barely hold the metal ends of the bulb in place...looks as if a bump would knock it out, but hasnt for the past 4 months. if you want a more snug fit those minimax might be better

i've replaced the door lights and "map lights" haven't replaced the dome light yet, might try the same bulbs icy is getting...

question - what bulb fits the trunk light and back license plate light?

I just don't like either of those yellow stock bulbs either...

I know what u mean...I can't see a damn thing in my trunk with the yellow crap.
I believe the polarg M4s or PIAA 19169s will work or any 12v 5w bulb in the trunk. But the license plate light I'm not sure

I ordered the minimax bulbs for the dome light as well. Tuleman has already claimed the 2nd blub. Someone look in the trunk and post what kind of bulb it is, and if it's just a single bulb. If so, that's another pack of M-4s I'll buy.

replaced the stock dome light with a minimax bulb. size and fit is just like the stock bulb. it's white but not as white as i would have liked it to be but matches close enough to the polarg m-4s i put on my doors and map lights. definitely much, much, much whiter than the stock bulbs. i like it though! purchased the bulb at http://www.eautoworks.com for $14.95 a pair plus $3.75 shipping. KavexTrax....check your mail ( in a couple of minutes )!

Well, I changed the map lights, the door lights, the trunk light, but how to get to the glove box light ? Anyone know ? I will go back out and change the lic. plate light, so far they are funcky cool ! Now, I changed the "HIGH BEAM" bulb on passenger side. The drivers side WILL NOT BUDGE ! Is there a secret ? BTW, those bulbs still look yellow, infact they look the same as the factory high beam bulbs to me ! I will have to see them at night to really compare, but they still have a yellow tone and for eighty something dollars, I thought they would match better !
Comments welcome !

For high beams you should use the Solaris 9005s or the Eurolite Crystals (I think that's what they are called, ask NovaWhiteTypeS how he likes them)

For My High beams I have Opti-Blues. Got them from www.eautoworks.com for $35 a pair. They are VERY white. They are even brighter than my HID's. For my trunk and license plate I used Eurolite 194 wedge bulbs. I got them at my local speed shop for $5 a pair. These are very white as well(whiter than my Polarg M-12's that I have in my turn signals. I'm going to buy 2 more pairs for my door lights and my map light. And for my Dome light I bought a blue mood light from Pep boys.

I just took out the bulb and went into a performace shop that sells bulbs. Asked for one this (dome light) size in hyper white. And they gave me one. Works well. Anyone have any ideas if there are hyperwhite bulbs that fit the vanity miror lights?

I got the minimax hyperwhites today for the dome light. They are nice, sorta bright, not quite as white as the polargs but good. I may buy a blue mood light and try that out as well. The minimax dome light is a perfect fit.
