Anyone bought there CL new and still driving it?
I bought my CL new march 2001 and am still driving it.
It has 150 k miles and on my 3rd tranny.
Any other poor people like myself still have there CL cuz they cant afford a new acura?

I purchased my CLS-6 in August 02; it's at 100K with 55K on the blower. Don't plan on getting rid of it any time soon, although I could afford something much nicer.

Still driving mine. Bought the CLS-6 brand new in 2003. Tempted to buy something new, but payments are all made on the car, it runs fine and doesn't give me many problems. I could get a new car, but I'd rather spend that money on other things right now.

Bought mine new on October 4th 2002... now with 76K miles...
I can afford a new acura, but why would I want one ?? They don't have a coupe and all the new sedans are ugly as hell... I'll buy a hyundai or honda before I buy another acura
I'll probably drive my 6spd till the wheels fall off too... I'd get nothing in trade, so it's wise financially to just keep driving it...

Bought my 01 CLS new, still have
Purchased in Mar 2001, still going strong w/only 80K miles. 1 new tranny, repainted last year (scratches/wear and tear) and bone stock except for new wheels.
I also plan to drive it until the wheels fall off. Find me another car with 260hp, 150mph top speed (verified on the autobahn) that will get 29+mpg doing 80mph (with the AC on) for $30K - correction: loaded for $30K - and I'll buy it, but there isn't one.

Got my 2001 CLp brand new in 2000 and traded it in in 2003 for the CLs I have now with 100K mile as of last week. I still get compliments on how well I've kept the car up (even from the dealership) and I plan to keep it about another 3 years.
...oh, I just got my 105K server done (at 100K) and I thought it ran good before. Now it really feels good.

Yes. Seven years to the day actually - August 10, 2001. Now has 106k miles on it and am going to be trading it in for a 2009 TL w/ SH-AWD and Tech Package when it's available in November.
Third tranny - first one replaced at approx 40k miles, second replaced at approx 90k miles.

Back to a MT!
Purchased my first 03 6sp in June 03, traded it for a 6sp navi in May 04 and have 113.5k miles on it now and don't plan on getting rid of it any time soon. Can't say there are any other coupes I really like short of a M6 or S5... (lots of $$ and thirsty compared to my CL)
Hoping for a nice looking CL replacement in a few years from Acura or will be jumping ship...

Got my 02 CL-S 5 years ago with 10k on it. I'm at 70k now and never had a problem. Love to take off the VSA in the rain and have some fun and spin the wheels.
