Talking Anybody still running stock brake system after > HP mods

how many people are running the stock brake system after HP upgrades to the engine, **(headers and cold air ) ** dont count.

If so, how bad is the driving /stopping distance compared to before ??

I'm still running the stock system for now. I need to upgrade, but haven't had a chance too yet.

With the current rim setup I have I can't install a BBK cuz of space limitations. Currenlty debating on selling my rims and buying something else.

Prior to the SC I was fine with the OEM setup, but everything depends on your driving habits. It you have a heavy foot and are an aggresive driver who brakes frequently then for obvious reasons a BBK would be better.

Edit: I have cross drilled and slotted rotors with HP pads which aren't that bad when it comes to stopping. How aggressive will you be driving?

I didn't feel like dumping the money on a BBK... the Rotora slotted rotors with Axxis Ultimate pads and SS lines made a HUGE difference.

GREAT GREAT

i know everybody says the stock brakes sys sucks
but i was just wondering if the aftermarket systems made a huge diff
as i have been told for example that since only the front wheels do the stopping getting an after market with greater clamping force (4 or 6 calipers)doesn't always make up the performance diff $ wi$e i mean. (little to know dif)

Are you kidding? Adding additional calipers makes a HUGE difference on any car. My Rotora BBK was the single, BEST EVER mod I've done to this car. If you would take every mod away from this car, the BBK would be the last to go... that's how good they are.

Btw, yes, front rotors and calipers consist of 80% of the braking power... another reason to upgrade.

The ROTORA rotors offer significant improvement over the stock rotors and pads. The stock rotors tend to warp and fade quickly whereas the slotted or combo rotors from ROTORA or even Brembo offer much less brake fade and therefore better braking. If you are going the route of forced induction, i.e. S/C or Turbo, then you really might want to consider a BBK b/c you will have the means to move but not the means to stop. If you have any other questions or need rotors or a BBK please PM me b/c I have rotors and a BBK in stock.
