Post any1 got nos on there cl

i got beat by my boys impala ss i was wanted toc if anyone had nos on their cl see if it fucks anything up and wat shoot would be acceptable

I knew this one guy who had a nitrous kit on his otherwise naturally aspirated CL. he was running a Zex wet kit with a 75 shot. he would drag his CLS often and was on his second transmission. NOTE: many who put major mods on a CL see tranny #2.

dyno is as follows: with N/A mods and no NOS 241wheelHP 200torque
then with NOS and dynoes same day: 292wheelHP, 280torque.

its for a 2001CLS auto

I would not recommend nitrous on a CL or CL-S Auto. If you want the car to last, add bolt on modifications that have proven reliability. This site is an excellent source and will answer 98% of your questions regarding modifications to your ride.

I am selling a Zex 75 kit. Works perfectly if you put the right jet in it Good condition. Willing to let it go for $300. Extra solenoid for purge, all adapters and fittings for easy installation.

Nothing wrong with a ZEX 75 shot dry kit. The car will take it fine. The car will last & you will not blow it up. Although you do not want to run NOS at every stoplight. Using common sense goes a long way here.

not sure, but i thought i read somewhere on this forum that the CLS auto puts out 190 or something whp?

yes, varies on carS.
Some cars are freaks and he did say with NA MODS= HEADERS, INTAKE, SPACER ETC.........U DIG

HOW WUD U SPARY ??, IN SS MODE OR IN AUTOMATIC MODE FROM A DIG OR NOT ??
OR
DOES IT EVEN MATTER
AND
WILL IT MAKE THE ENGINE OVER REV OR SAY if i was on 4k rpm and i sprayed will the rpms jump frm 4k to 6.5 k rmps all of a sudden ??

Do alot of reading and alot of homework on it first. I ran a edelbrock N2O kit on my old focus hatch. It ran like freaking mad but it took its toll after a year and bye bye engine. I am saving my money up for a supercharger. more reliable and you dont have to refill it.

I know FI s are more reliable but a lot of ppl here have beign running nos with little or no problems so .................
