any way to improve radio antenna?

ALot of the stations that came out crystal clear in my other car come in like shit in my type-s, I do have tint but i did not tint the dot matrix, so i dont see why my repection is so bad. Anyway to fix this problem? Can i add a small radio atenna on the rear window near the dot matrix to make it better?

The dot matrix is just for glare reduction. the fm lines are the lines just above the defroster lines so tinting or not tinting the dot matrix will have no effect.

Go to track auto, pepboys or radio shack and get a fm signal booster for like 15 bucks.

SO the dot matrix is just for glare reduction? Then why is everyone so worried about tinting the part of the window? Just beacuse it doesnt stick well??

yep it is a sticking problem ... my tint guy said that in the past he has tried everything, including sand papering the dot matrix area but that doesnt work perfectly either. in the end the best way to deal with it was to avoid tinting that area. (which goes to say that the probably doesnt serve much of a purpose other than glare reduction)

but if you do buy the fm booster suggested above .. let us know how it works out. cuz I'd definitely be interested! I hate the fact that I cant get chicago stations till about 10 miles west of south bend ... I am thinking with a booster, I might be able to pick em up here!

Yesh, the dot matrix part is bumpy and metallic tint has a hard time clinging to it.
But my results have gotten better after 4-6 weeks of tinting.

right now, its not even noticeable anymore.
so its a very slowwww process of sticking
