Any Supercharged Guys Running Nitrous?

I thought one or two guys were running both the blower and N20. Anyone still running both? Wondering how you're handling fuel. I suppose the blue E-Manage would work?

Logan was running a direct port nitrous setup prior to switching to a turbo. I didn't know if anyone else was though.

Was he running anything special for fuel other than what comes with the Comptech kit?

I don't think so, at least looking at pics of it doesn't appear that he was.

Looking at the pics on his webpage with pictures, it doesn't appear so and i believe he was running a 100hp shot.

Nevermind it's the RPM activation switch for the nitrous... cuts it off before redline.

Since there's no interest shown in my for sale thread I may try a small shot of spray for shits and giggles. Just wondering if there's enough fuel.

yeah, mtnbiker or something like that had both s/c and direct port. he made a custom hood for his direct port to fit also. and i'm also not sure about his numbers.

All three of you guys are talking about the same member. Logan = MtBikR, which is the only guy I can think of as well that had a FI car with Spray. You should probably PM him steve

Actually, Esserak and XkraziX both have nitrous on their cars as well as a supercharger, but those are strictly show cars so I'm not sure if the nitrous is ever even used.

It does have a little for sure. Usually on roads that aren't perfectly smooth. That road however wasn't perfectly smooth or perfectly straight.

Was a belt slipping or something? Also why wasn't your boost guage moving at all?

The belt isn't slipping. That boost gauge isn't the one I normally use. My Autometer gauge is at Autometer being re-calibrated. The hard vaccum line on that gauge was too short so I have to get a new one to hook it up. I have the line actually I just haven't got around to hooking it back up.

Ok so do you have any ideas as to why it was hesitating like that or were you just asking for some ideas?

I don't know really. The car still accelerated. Look at the speedo while it's doing that.

I've read before that it's the nature of the dual mass flywheel. Either that or I'm spinning the tires.

Its possible, but if you were spinning the tires the tack should shoot up not drop down. The speedo would stop climbing or really slow down and the tach should pretty much redline at those RPM's

No thats not right the speedo would keep climbing, but I am right about the tach. Damn it getting too late

steve-sounds like you were loosing traction and feathering the gas, but obviously your spedometer kept going up, weird. cool vid i got to get me one of those!!

on the topic: steve, you need to monitor it with wideband. if you are shooting 50 or less, i think its fine. im sure mtbikr has sprayed that or more when he had the SC.
the nos as i recall was not removed from the car during turbo install. however, i doubt he is spraying with the turbo.
mtbikr, where are you man? last i heard of your car was from allmotor when he fiinished it up. he said it was really quick, if you come on here hopefully you can post about it!

the clip: it looks like you were spinning tires from 1st into 2nd and then caught at 6k rpm in 2nd. then it just kept pulling fine from there. looks a little weird but i see something similar to it in my car, when i do a similar pull.

Hey man, I did have a blower with nitrous and there weren't any fuel problems, but I also had direct port. Since our compression is so high, I would go with a wet kit, and you'll be fine

I forgot about this...direct ported nitrous and s/c'd...ohhh wow!

The Dyno is just phenomenal: close to 400 hp is insane.
