As I offered before (openly, not to you but since we are now discussing the matter I will direct it to you) and was seemingly dismissed, I would bet $500 that you could not come down here and run below a 15.00. I would expect closer to the 15.2 range actually. In comparison, if a CL-S6SC ran a 13.75 on the same day, by your statement it would not be worth the money. But it is still 1.5 seconds faster. That is certainly a significant difference.

Oh and BTW, many people add power not to drag race or just to talk about times. They actually enjoy their cars on the road or road course. When hitting mid apex and not needing to go down two gears, just one is needed, but coming out of the turn just as fast is very nice. Being on the highway and leaving it in the top gear while passing with ease is also nice.

I question the reason for asking right now...
Knowing how sometimes pathetically unreasoning people on the forum can be, why run and post a less than ideal time. It has been and still is summer so it is a given that less than perfect times would be run.
As such someone here would compare their run in 40 degree weather at sea level to a blown run at 1500' in 90 degree temps.
As I have stated, when the weather cools times will be provided by myself and others I am sure.

I think in the evenings it's getting to be about 60 or so up north right? Some of you new england guys should be out at the tracks. That's a good temperature to run at. What about west coasters? I know for a fact that SF/SJ and Socal areas near the coast are cool in the evenings even in summer.
As hot as it is right now in GA I wouldn't expect you to run scalbert, but there's a few others on the board that should be posting times in my opinion. No reason to wait until it's the dead of winter. I figure for down south sometime around October is a good time for the track.

overnight lows are down as low as the 50s in PA... Come on Smitty, show me what I'm missing out on. I really just want an excuse to start saving up for this thing.

gate shift
1/4 tank or less
20 psi in front, 40 in back
take out spare etc etc etc
dont just nail it off the line, i have never driven a blown cl-s but i'd guess give it 1/3 throttle off the line then just ease into it and drop the hammer, since its ur first time at the track if u can pull some 2.0 60's that would be great, i think its more than possible w/ the power u got down low + the stick toyos
good luck and make sure ya post the #'s, i cant wait to see, make me pround

I nuetral bombed this morning thinking I was in SS. Shifted to N, realized the mistake and put it back in D5 at around 5k rpm. Not good! Car seems fine though.

red rider,
for the back i'd put the konis to the stiffest setting. As for the front....it depends on how much wheel hop you get. Trial and error. If you get nice wheel spin without wheel hop then goto the most stiff setting.
