any paint issues with clear bra?
any paint issues with clear bra?
Has anyone had any paint issues with getting aftermarket paint job and putting paint protection kit on it. I dropped my car off at a shop to do this and they called back saying that they dont really want to do it with aftermarket paint work. They said there is a good chance the film will rip the paint off. Has anyone ever had paint rip off? I know they are saying this to cover their ass but should I be this worried about it. it is bugging me since I put over 3k in the paint job. Gonna have to keep my fingers crossed

How old is the paint? Has it had enough time to gas out?

I don't have a clear bra, but it does sound kind of questionable that it would be a problem.
One thing you can do is check with the shop/person that painted your car. They may be able to give you better insight if the paint would hold up with a clear bra.

I called the bodyshop that did the paint job and he said they havnt had an issue with it before and recommended his guy to me. I should have the car back by 7 pm today with clear bra and tints on so will find out soon. I will post pics.
