Maybe if you want, i'll send it down there. All you have to do is pay a fee and shipping, And send it back when you are done. It seems like there are three people that want it done down there.

FK yea but how hard would it be for me and the Fla. boys to do. I wouldn't mind taking it to a body shop and have them do the work as long as the work and the price are good.
By any chance have u already done ur's? If so u think u could post pics. I really want to roll my and throw on some 1" spacers. I found that H&R makes 1" spacers for our cars .
So what I'll do is get with me and the Fla. boys and find a reputable body shop that will do the work on a GB basis, more customers, same work, less price for us .
The S/H method will work out just fine. I know that the Fla. boys will divi up the cost for S/H both ways.
Hey u think u could do me a favor and post a pic or a link to the machine that u are using?
Tnx

Here's the pix of the machine. It's the last photos. I'll take pix of my car to show how it's rolled. What's the purpose of the spacers? i don't see a need for the spacers.

Agreed. There is no set purpose for spacers but for cosmetic appearance. To have a CLS droped with 8"s and have them sticking out 1 adittional inch would make the car look sick.
But let me ask u, how hard was it to do? How long did it take for u to do it? If I do FK up, is that the end of it or could it be put back to stock and started all over again? Just curious, but I still feel that I'll let a body shop do the work.
My friend had his old 330ci's fenders rolled. He told me that he looked throughout all of S. Fla. and found that no one had a rolling machine. The way that the shop rolled his fenders, was with a baseball bat  . The wraped a towel around a baseball bat and stuck it in his wheel gap and had someone else drive the car back and fourth until the desired look was achieved.

Something else that just hit me. What did u do about the rear bumper. When u rolled the rear fenders, what did u do to make the rear bumper to match the fender. Also, well ovbiously, what did u do to the front bumper as well?
Oh yea there is one very useful benifit to using spacers. Example a friend of mine on the board just got 19"s. When he took his CLS to the shop to have them install the 19s the called him back and told him that they need to take off the 19s because they can't drive the car. He has H&R sport springs on the car along with a 200+lbs system in the trunk. The 19s were rubbing on the inside of the fender well. The top of the tyre was hitting the part of the fender well closest to the center of the car. His solution was to put stock springs back on. My solution would have been to have the fenders rolled to allow spacers to be put on and the wheels to be pushed out some. That in turn would allow the tyre to move freely, but I would still imagine that the tyre would still hit the inside of the fender well whenever the suspension were to compress heavly, i.e.; dips in the road, RR tracks, etc. Although aftermarket shocks could cure that problem, but the ride would be rougher. I guess u can't have ur cake and eat it too, unless u have lots of $$$.
Oh yea and spacers would allow the car to handle and corner better, but that is a gimme .
