Any one got a rattle by the sunglass holder area??
I thought my sunroof was rattling again but i payed close attention to it and its coming from the area where the lights/ sunglass holder is.
Anyone have this problem before, i rather fix it my self than take it to the dealer i've been there too much latley.

Yea i have so many rattles it to hard to even pinpoint there location now. Lets see my sunroof rattles like everyone else, i have a dash rattle, the passenger seat is rattling and the 3rd brake light. Thats all i know now, but there is so much noise its hard too tell. I cant even drive around with the music off its so annoying. And i hate having people in my car and hearing all that crap.

I only get a rattle when sunglasses are in it too :P
Does anyone here go to the dealer to fix rattles? Am I the only one? I had a minor rattle near the seatbelt holder, mentioned it to the dealership during an oil change, they rebuilt the entire B-pillar with extra insulation and tightened the seat belt holder -all in less than an hour and half. Guess what? No rattle. Pretty cool how that works.

My car is a rattle machine... sometimes i get depressed when I turn the radio off .. b/c of how shitty the interior build quality is ... then i just crank the volume and drive pissed off for a mile or two until i forget about it.

When my car was under warrenty, the dealer opened up the convenience light system by the sunglass holder and said the bulb was rattling against something. He fixed it with some foam. Unfortunately it only lasted about 5 months and the rattle came back. Another annoying rattle is from the passenger side sun visor - I guess a lot of peopple mistake it from coming from the sunglass area. I hope this helps ...........

Another rattle that I hear not (sounds the same as the visor rattle) is from the passenger door. I hear a lot of ticking and tapping when I hit bumps and stuff, but I think when I push on the top of the door panel, it kinda stops. I even open the window a crack and it stops. I'll have the dealer look at it when I go in for my 15K service.

same problem
I also have the rattle in the sunglass holder area. I'm going to check out the two possible solutions....such an annoying rattle. When my car was serviced, I asked them to check it out, but they didn't find anything.

My sunglass holder rattles too sometimes, but its always due to what I have in it -- I usually store my parking pass (credit card like thingy) and sunglasses in there -- sometimes they rattle against each other.
Do you have anything in your holder? Maybe that's what's rattling.

I checked the passenger side visor and that's definitely not the problem.
They've tried the sunroof tape and that didn't fix it. It's not a pair of sunglasses. I have no idea what it its...

Yep, mine started rattling up by the glasses holder after I had the windshield replaced (by Acura). It goes away for a few minutes if I slam my fist into the ceiling within that general area... But I'll get it looked at one of these days...
