Any Comments on [B]Oil Coolers [/B]
I just wanted to see what people have to say about installing oil coolers on the CL/TL.
Here is what I cam up with:
Advantages
- Lower operating temps.
- Possible reduction in detonation
Disadvantages
- Possibly harming the engine because oil temps are too low
resulting in higher oil viscosity.
- higher oil pressure because of higher viscosity.
These determinations are not proven and need to be debated.
I would greatly appreciate any input.
