Hey fellows did anyone remove their Exhaust resonator... it is a decent sized tank (muffler) about 4 feet back from the catalytic converter and 2 feet from the Y-pipe that splits to the mufflers? I was thinking about bolting in a flanged pipe... thoughts? it would cost me about 20 bucks to do it..

CLSmike (i think thats his board name) did it and i was planning on doing it too they make the HKS sound hella good

i paid 475 at a local store but i believe someone was selling them on here for the same price shipped i had to pay extra because of tax but it was in stock

Please don't flame at me, but what does the Exhast resonator do? Deadens the Sound before it get to the muffler? Any gain, or just more free "air flow" last question, i live in California, would removing this affect my emissions in any way? thanks for the help
