that thing is quick off the line for an auto, the 1st gear is soo short, i think he'll kill me off the line, i told him to nail it from a 20 roll and it caught 2nd gear but still pulled hard till the end of 2nd,

i think its better to race him to 100 instead of the usual 0-70-80ish

I was dead even with a G35C with my Auto, but they must of been going through their break-in cycle or something.

I ran an auto G35 with H/I/Mufflers by half a car length to about 80 from a standstill and beat him again on the way back, but he quit a few feet off the line claiming that he fishtailed out of control. pretty sure you can take him by at least a little.

i only ran 14.2 once man, my car isnt different than any of yours, i'm just sayin that car has nice trw down low and gets up in the revs quick in first, i say when he switches into 2nd i'll just be gettin into vtec in first, imma have to real him in up top

was this a coupe or sedan, modified or stock?

i did gateshifting vs auto G to about 80, he had me about a half a car.

i dont know how you were able to beat the coupe, you have exhaust which i didnt and i doubt that is enough to make you beat him by 1 car. i could hardly ever take my buddies g35c from a stop, 2/3 of the time he would win. congrats if you really can take him. let us know if you try again with it.

I just took on a G35 Sedan 6MT on my way back from work today. From the light to 60 (there was still some traffic). He had me by a hair...it was hard to tell as we both had to slam on our brakes. He had a passenger while I had my stereo in.

I couldn't beat my brother from a stop...he's got a G35 auto sedan and I have a CLS 6MT. Then again, my tires spun and his grabbed right away. We only raced to like 50 and he was pulling slowly. Oh yeah, I suck at driving stick and didn't want to drop my clutch too harshly. Both cars are stock.
