Another proud new 2002 CL Type S owner
Bought mine here in Northern VA on Saturday, 29 December. It's an early birthday present to myself....I turn 40 on Jan 7th. It was time to get rid of my 1987 Acura Integra SE - I think 15 years is long enough to wait for a new car!!!
Everything seems to be perfect with it except......yes, my rear speaker shelf seems to be rattling also. I read somewhere here on the board a few suggestions on how to quite it down before bringing it back to the dealer (but I can't find that thread now) Any help would be appreciated!
I'll have to check my schedule, but I might be able to make the get together on the 19th in MD. I'd like to see what all of the mods look like that I see described on this forum.
Oh, I bought a silver/ebony combo. Should I get the front and back mud guards? Do they look okay?
I look forward to hanging out with other Acura lovers. Why isn't there a thread for 2nd Gen discussion like the 1st Gen'rs have?!! (all I see is a gallery thread)

Congrats on the purchase!!! Welcome aboard.
As for your rattle. I found it to be the rear window against the third brake light. I took an ever so small piece of velcro (the soft side with the tape still on) and put it between the window and light. Seemed to have solved my problem. I've used it also in my visors. You know where you pull out the extension....that rattled and used some velcro for that as well. ALSO....I use it behind my front license plate holder. The way it's engineered, it will/may wear on your bumper. Good luck.
