Thumbs up Another newbie saying hello!

I have been lurking for a while and finally got around to registering.
Anyway, I have read a great deal of useful information on this site, thanks to all the contributors.
I have a bone stock '01 Type-S and have owned it for about 5K miles, it has 55K on it. I absolutely love this car, the only thing that would make it better in my opinion would be rear wheel drive. But alas.

I was shopping for BMW coupes, Volvo C70, and the CL. The H.P. and great reliabilty of the Acura won over the questionable reliability of the BMW, the Volvo was just not powerful enough.

Great site, great info.

Welcome. I would stay away if you like to keep your money in the bank versus your car though. Good luck with the car, they are great cars to drive, even if they are FWD.

Nice ride but like mclaren said, you're not gonna save any money hangin' around here! I should know, just ordered my springs... Mod #1! (not including the Piaa 19224's)

I know that this is not "the savings place".
I ordered a lip m5 spolier off of Ebay for my first 'mod', and I was thinking hard about the Piaa's as well.
I would love springs but with the roads around here (and my driving) I need to maintain the travel.

Welcome. . This place will lead to sky rocket high credit card bills, but you will have a kick ass car. Get springs first.

Welcome, I like to keep my CL-S stock looking, cops are nasty where I live and I speed an awfull lot to draw any more attention than needed. I would recomend underhood mods like Ice-Box, headers and sways and a good set of tires to start. ENJOY.............
