Another Mod Question???

Ok I am going nutz here with everyone modding out their CLS's and I told myself "it is a lease, don't bother" Well I have her for another 3 years still. Maybe I could do a weapon R intake and the sways. Would that be worth it in your opinions? Will I even feel the intake or is it a "mental" mod.

I don't know. I'm leasing currently and I'm planning on sways/springs, rims and tires, intake and pulleys. I'm also planning on buying it after my lease is up to. I just didn't want the larger fianance payment right now. Most of those won't void your warrenty and can be taken off if you keep the stock equipment around.

Just my $0.02

The intake is an "aural" mod. If there is more power it's a bit hard to tell for me due to VTEC and headers all kicking in at the same time. Get the sways, hell you're gonna have the car for 3 years.

Definately do the intake. you can expect about 10 hp and better throttle response. Plus when you do a v tec acceleration people look and say WTF was that. It sounds really different and impressive.
Best analogy is it sounds like a dual quad carb setup with the air cleaner turned over.... :p :p :p

Cool thanks for the advice. I am not sure about 10HP but I guess it is only $150 right? My Z28 that I had before this didn't even get 10 Hp and I was pushing way over 300 HP. But this car does roll a ton. Maybe sways first

The Comptech anti-sways will most definitely help reduce that nasty body roll, and they're easy enuf to install and remove when your lease is up. BTW, the Neuspeed Upper Strut Tie Bar is really cost-effective in helping your handling, and is sooo easy to install that I even did that mod myself (R/R 4 nuts). It costs $80 to first-time buyers at www.carparts.com.

it is "your" car for 3 years, you can do whatever you want to it, especially if you're 100% sure if you're gonna buy it out...take a look at my sig...mine is also on a lease...still not sure if i wanna buy it or not, but that's the only thing holding me back from shocks, adjustable coilovers, custom stereo setup, 19" wheels, paint job and so on...
